Introduction[]
Vasaturbs is a moderately large nation on the southeastern tip of Aelari. The population is only 125,000,000 people, the smallest population among the Wintermoor nations. Historically, Vasaturbs has been renowned as a manufacturing powerhouse. Vasaturbs was one of the first nations to explore the Irabian System since Wintermoor's settlement, by beginning mining operations on Karravesk. Interest has been shown in a colony, but the decision was declined due to costs.
History[]
Following the nations founding, Vasaturbs went on to become one of Wintermoors most independent nations, only falling behind Lancara in lack of dependencies from importing or exporting goods. The nation saw explosive technological advancements, much different than those of the international community.
In 188 ERB, the nation led the first expedition to mine regions of Karravesk, a process which would be repeated for centuries, converting the Selena into a major hub for mineral wealth. However, with a sharp decline in population growth and economic progress, the nation was forced to shut its space agency down and a ll Vasatourbi mining was ceased.
Present[]
Vasaturbs' population mostly lives in and around its major cities, Vasset, Cercart, Cebolati, and Marah. The nation maintains a relatively large military for its size, contributing largely in the Battle of Pandora during the UHC-Wintermoor War. The nation still maintains some mining outposts on Karravesk, however most of the historic outposts have been abandoned with the influx of extrasolar materials.
